The shop is open 5 days a week Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4:30pm. Saturday 9:30am to 3pm. However, being a family owned business it is impossible to absolutely guarantee those opening times, therefore if you plan to travel any distance to us, please call first.
The move to the new shop in late 2009 has reduced our costs. These cost reductions will allow us to have more promotions and special offers to pass the savings on to you. The added benefit is that we no longer need to be concerned about 5 year shop leases. We are now settled and in Whitchurch to stay!
We always try to provide a helpful personal touch to our service offering as much assistance as we can yet leave you to browse for as long as you like.
Whilst we stock what we think are the different and of course more essential items, if there is something special you are looking for, we don't have it but we know where to get it, we'll do our best to have it ready for you on your next visit. Our regular customers already enjoy both this service and choosing from our substantial range of stock items. They come back again and again as indeed we hope you will too.
We source our houses and miniatures from approximately 30 suppliers, hence the list of items in stock is far too great and variable to maintain catalogues. However, catalogues do not clearly differentiate between all the qualities, feel and intricacies of the thousands of tiny items. Subsequently we find most collectors enjoying their hobby want to see and feel their prospective purchases as well as the joy of putting together a matching combination for a room you are working on.
Therefore we have specifically opted out of offering a mail order service. The added costs would only force up our competitive prices. Talking of prices, we will be pleased to accept payment by cash, cheque and a wide range of credit & debit cards.
Budget and Luxury ranges from many manufacturers are always in stock which, we think are excellent value.
