12th and 24th Scale
Originally dolls’ houses were made in 16th scale. The Victorians led the way with this size. However, this was later replaced by 12th scale where more detail could be included. This size remains the mainstream scale today across the globe.
However, due to limited space to display dolls’ houses a demand has grown for a smaller size. That being the case 24th scale has started to gain momentum in the last 10 years or so.
Modern manufacturing techniques means a good level of detail can still be achieved and we are pleased to be stockists of 24th scale houses and miniatures.
